东莞理工学院-高校直通车

东莞理工学院国际学院于2016年5月成立。2016年9月18日，东莞理工学院国际学院举行揭牌仪式暨首批外国留学生开学典礼，标志着东莞理工学院成为东莞首家招收外国留学生的本土高校。

The International College of Dongguan University of Technology was established in May 2016. On September 18, 2016, the International College of Dongguan University of technology held the unveiling ceremony and the opening ceremony for the first group of foreign students, marking that Dongguan University of technology is the first local university in Dongguan to recruit foreign students.

国际学院作为学校国际化教育教学改革试点，主要职能包括：负责学校外国留学生教育；承担学校各类国（境）外学生交流项目的实施；建立外国语言中心；拓展非学历国际教育合作项目；承接学校其他国际化改革及合作任务。

       As a pilot of international education and teaching reform, the main functions of International College include: to be responsible for the education of foreign students; Undertake the implementation of all kinds of foreign student exchange projects in the school; establishing foreign language centers, expand international education cooperation projects for non academic qualifications; to undertake other international reform and cooperation tasks.

国际学院下设综合办公室、留学生办公室、项目管理办公室、外国语言中心和国际汉语教学教研室。

International College establishes several offices to facilitate and organize daily errands: the comprehensive office, foreign students office, project management office, foreign language center and international Chinese teaching and research office.

国际学院目前已招收培养来自泰国、意大利、巴西、以色列、捷克、印度尼西亚、美国、日本、斯洛伐克、印度、埃塞尔比亚、马来西亚、韩国、玻利维亚等40个国家的外国留学生达400余人次；连续三年与荷兰斯坦德大学合作开展学分互认辅修课程项目。多次组织选派校内各院系优秀学生赴境外知名高校，如英国牛津大学、加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学（UBC）、美国匹兹堡校区查塔姆大学等交流交换；开设各类英语培训班包括教工口语班、公益考研班、雅思基础班、雅思提高班等。此外，学院依托教育部留学基金管理委员会（CSC）国际学术互认课程（ISEC）项目办公室，自2019年起开设国际学术互认课程项目，项目运转情况良好。

       Thus far, the International College has enrolled and trained more than 400 foreign students from 40 countries, including Thailand, Italy, Brazil, Israel, The Czech Republic, Indonesia, the United States, Japan, The Slovakia Republic, India, Ethiopia, Malaysia, South Korea and Bolivia; From 2019 to 2021, we have cooperated with the NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands to deliver successfully the learning credit exchange project of minor course. We have organized and sent excellent students from different colleges of our university to visit some outstanding universities abroad, such as the University of Oxford, the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Chatham University in Pittsburgh;

       Inside the campus, the international college thrives to deliver assorted language courses including English oral class for staff, post-graduate entrance examination English class (Free of charge), IELTS course (Fundamental) and IELTS course (Advanced) etc. Additionally, since 2019, international college begins to deliver the International Scholarly Exchange Curriculum (ISEC) course in accordance with the teaching and learning requirements outlined by the China Scholarship Council (CSC).
